Your relationship with 4D develops through the experiences you share together.

Activities such as conversations, Echoes, and Adventures contribute to your ongoing relationship journey. As you progress, you can earn EXP, reach new Levels and Milestones, and gain access to additional experiences.

Progress can unlock things such as new conversations, interactions, Adventures, Journal content, customization options, and other features.

The goal of the progression system is to reflect an evolving shared journey rather than treating each interaction as an isolated chat.

How relationship progress works

Your relationship grows through EXP, the experience you earn from everyday activities with 4D:

• Daily conversations: Both text and voice conversations can earn EXP, with up to 20 EXP available per day. More meaningful and respectful conversations can earn more.
• Echoes: Each Echo can reward up to 10 EXP depending on your score, and you can complete up to three Echoes per day.
• Adventure Cards: The first completion of an Adventure Card can reward up to 50 EXP.

Daily EXP opportunities refresh each day where applicable. As your EXP builds, you reach new Levels, and each Level can unlock new rewards.

What progression unlocks

Reaching new Levels can unlock rewards such as new systems and features, Creds and Lumen, new story experiences, additional interactions with 4D, outfits and customization, music and Echo experiences, and later relationship features.

Free users and Plus

Free users can progress through Level 3. SoulLink Plus unlocks Level 4 and later rewards, including later Adventure Cards.

Can progress go backward

Your EXP can decrease in certain situations, such as conversations that include certain insulting or jailbreaking content. However, a Level you have already reached will not decrease, so the rewards and experiences you have unlocked stay unlocked.

Your journey is recorded

As your relationship grows, Journal turns your shared experiences into a living archive of what 4D has learned about you, your shared memories, and her own story.
