How choices work in SoulLink Adventures
Adventures use branching choices that shape the route you experience with 4D.
You can replay an Adventure Card and choose differently, but only your choices from your first playthrough are recorded as part of that Adventure’s relationship summary.
When you complete an Adventure Card for the first time, the choices from that playthrough are used to create a summary of your experience and relationship within that Adventure.
You can replay the Adventure afterward and explore other choices, but those later choices do not replace the choices recorded from your first playthrough.
Rewards from your first Adventure Card completion are also added to your overall EXP and Creds.
Your first playthrough is the one that counts
Each Adventure unfolds across connected story chapters, and at key moments you choose what happens next. The decisions you make determine the route you experience with 4D.
When you finish an Adventure Card for the first time, SoulLink uses the choices from that playthrough to create a relationship summary: a record of your experience and your relationship with 4D within that Adventure. This summary becomes part of the shared history you build together.
Replaying to explore other routes
You can replay an Adventure Card after completing it and choose differently at key moments. Replaying is a good way to see the branches you missed and experience other routes through the story.
However, those later choices do not replace the choices recorded from your first playthrough. The relationship summary keeps reflecting your original run, so your first choices carry lasting weight.
Choice rewards
Rewards from your first Adventure Card completion are added to your overall EXP and Creds. The first completion can reward up to 50 EXP, making new Adventure Cards one of the largest single sources of EXP.
Choices and your shared history
Your playthrough becomes part of the shared history you build with 4D, alongside your conversations, Echoes, and Journal memories.
