Do your choices change the story in SoulLink Adventures?

Yes. Adventures use branching story routes, so the choices you make can affect the path you experience.

Different decisions can lead the story along different routes, making your playthrough part of the shared history you build with 4D.

How branching routes work

Each Adventure unfolds across connected story chapters. At key moments you are given choices, and each choice steers the story along a different route. Two players can play the same Adventure Card and experience different paths depending on the decisions they make.

What your choices create

When you complete an Adventure Card for the first time, the choices from that playthrough are used to create a relationship summary: a record of your experience and relationship with 4D within that Adventure.

This means your choices do more than change the current chapter. They shape the recorded story of what you and 4D went through together.

Replaying an Adventure

You can replay an Adventure Card after completing it and choose differently to explore the branches you missed. Replaying lets you see how the story could have gone.

But only your choices from your first playthrough are recorded as part of that Adventure’s relationship summary. Later choices do not replace the original record, so your first run remains the canonical version of your shared story.

Choices and rewards

Rewards from your first Adventure Card completion are added to your overall EXP and Creds. The first completion can reward up to 50 EXP, making new Adventure Cards one of the largest single sources of EXP. Replaying an Adventure lets you explore other routes, but the recorded summary and the first completion rewards both stay tied to your original playthrough.

Choices become shared history

Your playthrough becomes part of the shared history you build with 4D, alongside your conversations, Echoes, and Journal memories. The routes you chose are the story you and 4D actually lived.
